Free Hosting and Management

We're interested in providing free website management for nonprofits and community organizations.

What's the catch?

Yes, there is a catch!  We don't want you to provide ads on your site.  In exchange for the hosting, we ask that you not make money from your website in this way.

Apart from that, here's what's going on....

  • We don't plan to charge - We're not interested in making money from hosting for not-for-profit groups.
  • Still in development - our editing system is functional and easy to use but not really very polished yet.  It's in "beta" development stage, basically.
  • Private Websites -   If you want to have us provide service for a private or commercial website, let us know.
  • Open Source - yes we do plan to open-source the software eventually. This means you could take the entire system and your files and host it later. If you need to move stuff before the open source release, the files are just HTML files anyway.

Why Use a Hosted Website Manager?

  • Continually up to date
  • Hassle free

What about email?

We recommend you use google apps for your email.  The easy way is to just forward your domain email to your google email accont and set up a separate "from" address in google's email.  But you can also use "google aps" and setup email accounts for your organization, manage calenaring, documents, and stuff like that.  Google will do a far better, and free or cheaper, job of doing email than any small hosting company could ever do.
